As of now, giraffes are not classified as endangered but are considered "vulnerable" by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). They face threats such as habitat loss, habitat fragmentation, poaching, and illegal hunting. Human activities like deforestation, agricultural expansion, and human-wildlife conflict contribute to these threats. Conservation efforts, including habitat protection, anti-poaching measures, and community involvement, are essential for maintaining stable giraffe populations and ensuring their long-term survival in the wild.
